Christina Dymioti, a UK-Cypriot from Sheffield based in London, has been shortlisted for the prestigious PwC Women of the Future Award in the Arts & Culture category.

The awards ceremony, taking place on 11 November 2025, celebrates, inspires, and supports a new generation of female talent across the UK.

The Women of the Future Awards—now in their 18th year—recognise trailblazing women across a wide range of fields, from science and business to culture and community leadership.

More than a night of recognition, the awards have become a powerful platform and network for emerging female leaders, fostering connections, mentorship, and collaboration across sectors.

About Christina Dymioti

Christina Dymioti is a UK-based social entrepreneur and marketing professional working in the sustainability industry.

She earned her BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus and holds an MSc in Marketing Management from the University of Sheffield.

She is the founder and director of Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus (FHNC), a youth creative network focused on engaging young creatives and preserving cultural heritage through sustainable fashion.

Christina is also a Global Youth Leader of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and a founding member of the UK Cohort, supporting young leaders across the Commonwealth.

An Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society and a member of UN Women UK, Christina has received multiple distinctions for her leadership and contributions to arts and culture.

In 2024, she won the Culture & Arts Award at the Cyprus Diaspora Forum.

The following year, she became a finalist for the PwC Women of the Future Award in the Culture & Arts category and was appointed by the President of Cyprus to the first-ever Technical Committee on Youth, where she serves as the only youth representative from the diaspora.

This committee works directly with the United Nations to foster a peaceful and sustainable future for the island.

In 2025, Christina has spoken at international conferences, mentored young professionals and university students, and published an academic article on FHNC in the “Handbook of Sustainable Fashion.”

As a youth leader, she also had the unique honour of attending an event at Buckingham Palace, where she met members of the Royal Family.

Upcoming Event: Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus Exhibition

Audiences can soon experience the work of Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus firsthand.

The network’s new collection of sustainable fashion garments, created by emerging designers and inspired by Cypriot cultural heritage, will be showcased at Picnic Nicosia from 7–9 November 2025.

This exhibition is funded by the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus and the British High Commission, highlighting a dynamic collaboration between culture, sustainability, and youth innovation.

About the Women of the Future Awards

The Women of the Future Awards, supported by PwC, celebrate young female leaders shaping Britain’s future.

Beyond the awards night, the Women of the Future Programme connects participants through its Network and Ambassadors Programme, encouraging mentorship and collaboration.

From recent surveys, 94% of past participants reported that the awards provided greater access to new networks, while 93% said the programme significantly improved their self-belief and professional confidence.

Founded in 2022, the Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus (FHNC) is an intercommunal, youth-led, and volunteer-based organisation dedicated to preserving, reimagining, and promoting Cyprus’s rich craft and fashion traditions through sustainable and inclusive practices.

With over 40 active members from across Cyprus and the diaspora, and a growing network of designers, researchers, and cultural practitioners, FHNC has become a key platform connecting heritage, sustainability, and innovation.

In recognition of its impact, FHNC received the “Culture and Art” Award at the 2024 Cyprus Diaspora Forum and was shortlisted for the Cyprus Environment Symposium Award.

Its work has also been featured in the Palgrave Handbook of Sustainability in Fashion (2024), highlighting its role in shaping the dialogue between cultural heritage and sustainable fashion.
