Congratulations to Stephen Constantine on his appointment as Head Coach of the Amavubi, Rwanda’s National Team.
The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has announced that Stephen Constantine has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Rwanda men’s national team, Rwanda national football team, as well as the national Under-23 team.
His contract will run for the next two years, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance.
Constantine is not new to the national team, as he previously coached Amavubi between 2014 and 2015.
Stephen Constantine is one of the most experienced and respected international football coaches of the modern era. With a career spanning more than 30 years, he has led national teams across Asia, Africa, and Europe — including Pakistan, India (twice), Rwanda, Sudan, Malawi and Nepal. His reputation as a transformative coach is grounded in results: taking underperforming teams to record FIFA rankings, qualifying for major tournaments, and establishing lasting developmental systems.
