Participating in the Limassol Marathon was deeply meaningful to Peter Vasiliou. Being of Cypriot heritage, he had always dreamed of taking part in a significant event in Cyprus, with the ultimate goal of one day running the Athens and London marathons.

Peter said “The conditions on the day started off ideal for a marathon—cool temperatures and even a brief spate of rain. However, as the day progressed, temperatures soared into the mid-20s, making the final stretch a true test of endurance and determination.

I chose to run for the NCIO charity in honour of my aunt, who continues to be an incredible source of inspiration to us all. Her unwavering strength and compassion exemplify what it means to persevere and uplift others”.

So far, we’ve raised over £2,500 for this cause, and we’re striving to hit our £5,000 target.

Peter Vassiliou is raising £5000 to National Centre for Integrative Oncology (NCIO).
